The Twelve Tribes of Israel
Where did the twelve tribes of Israel go?
Where are they today, do you wish
to know?
There were the twelve tribes, yes, even thirteen
Since,
blessings of Jacob was split between
Joseph's two sons, as Israel
foreseen
Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah
Zebulun, Issachar, Dan, Gad,
Asher
Naphtali, Ephraim, and Manasseh
with Benjamin bringing up the
latter
The one kingdom, Israel, became two:
Judah and Israel when it
was through.
Assyria scattered Israel's tribes
To fulfill the punishment
God prescribed
As it has been written by the Kings scribes
Judah was
then taken by Babylon
After seventy years some Jews returned
But many of
Israel traveled on
From the Caucasus Mountains they sojourned
They
have forgotten from whence they did come
But the Lord God knows just where
they came from
Their histories have fulfilled prophecy
Becoming great
nations as God did foresee
One has only to open their eyes and see
-Udiah (Witness to Yah)
The theme of this poem here is that of the great power God did/does through the twelve tribes of Israel.

Ten Words Circularly
History is ‘Nothing to be done’; and Time passes circularly.
Nothing passes
circularly: History and Time is to be done.
Time is circularly Nothing and
History passes to be done.
History circularly passes Time and Nothing is to
be done.
To be Nothing, Time passes and History is circularly
done.
Nothing is to be done: Time and History circularly passes.
Nothing is History and, to be done, Time circularly passes.
To be is History; and
Time done circularly passes Nothing.
Time is to be; and Nothing circularly
done passes History.
Nothing passes History and Time to be done circularly
is.
To be is: Nothing done circularly passes History and Time.
-Alex Hamilton
The theme of this poem is that history is a cycle which repeats itself over and over again. History always repeats itself throughout the ages and forever.
Nothing passes
circularly: History and Time is to be done.

Nothing is History and, to be done, Time circularly passes.

I am Apart of HIstory
I am apart of history
History lies deep down inside of me
I am like Martin
Luther King
Just like him I'm going to let freedom ring
I am like Mary
Bethune
Because like Maya Angelou I walk like I got oil wells pumping in my
living room
I am apart of history
History is important to me
I am like
Charles DREW
Like him I can be a scientist too
I am like Malcolm X
Come
on my sisters and brothers we have to stop that
I am like Chainey, Schwenger
and Moore
I will get people to vote I will go to every door
I am apart of
history
I accept the rights my ancestors gave to me
I am like Jackie
Robinson
Lokking in the sky at my home runs
I am like Harriet
Tubman
Taking slaves to their freedom land
I am like Medgar Evers
Like
him I too can be clever
I am like Barack Obama
Rising above to greatness
despite the drama
I am apart of history
History is deep down inside of me
Jeanette Matthews
This poem, to me, says that everyone is a part of history in one way or another no matter what. You can do something small or big but regardless you are still apart of history and will always be.

War is Our Worlds History
I Look into a history book.
And what do I see?
Pain and agony, death and
suffering,
I see history that tells a lot about our world.
War!
Our
world's history is war.
It is the pain and agony, the death and the
suffering,
I see large fields of dead bodies,
I see our heritage being
destroyed by other people
because it is not what they believe in,
I see
people begging for mercy, but they do not get it
instead they get a bullet in
the head.
In our history I see many mistakes in which we can learn from,
but we obviously we do not.
They say not to judge a book by its cover,
to me this quote means nothing to our history.
Our history is our cover,
and the book is filled with pain and agony, death and suffering.
Plain
and Simple
War!
Christian Cervantes
The poet here is saying how war is our history and our history is made from war. To me no nation is built without any kind of conflict (war) and war is what makes the human species different from every other one, where groups of people from the same species can gather together to kill other groups of people exactly the same with them and constantly find new ways to kill people.
