Ode to Life
Oh life
thank you
you make me happy,
you make me grateful
you make me respect
the great gift which
you bestow upon us
that is the gift of life
to wake and smell the air
to feel the cool breeze
and feel the warmth of the sun
this makes me happy
so thank you life, thank you
for giving me life
in this wonderful world
thank you
you make me happy,
you make me grateful
you make me respect
the great gift which
you bestow upon us
that is the gift of life
to wake and smell the air
to feel the cool breeze
and feel the warmth of the sun
this makes me happy
so thank you life, thank you
for giving me life
in this wonderful world
Mount Ararat
Mount Ararat
your two peaks
raising beyond the earth
covered with the white powder known as snow,
a cool breeze whisps by, chilling you
but nice
the steady beat of the sun
keeps you warm
the damp transparaent mist in the distance
makes you seem mysterious
the flat ground towards your base
a trek
steadily increases in height and ruggedness
until the top
where have you swallowed the ark?
that belonging to Noah.
a valley separates you two
a tunnel for the air which flows through
you can see into the distance
forever it seems
the beauty mesmerizing
astonishing
Mount Ararat.
your two peaks
raising beyond the earth
covered with the white powder known as snow,
a cool breeze whisps by, chilling you
but nice
the steady beat of the sun
keeps you warm
the damp transparaent mist in the distance
makes you seem mysterious

Found Poem
The shoreline 6
they caught her at the phone booth
killing Reena Virk
the night came crashing down
he had never met her before that night
Lowatskis involvement
her family would never hear from her again
battered and bleeding
she stumbled away
pursuers
bragged
killing Reena virk
they caught her at the phone booth
killing Reena Virk
the night came crashing down
he had never met her before that night
Lowatskis involvement
her family would never hear from her again
battered and bleeding
she stumbled away
pursuers
bragged
killing Reena virk
Idyll Poem
Canada
the perfect
peacefull
multicultural
land of mountains
lakes
ponds
deserts
prairies
on the hill I stand
of alberta plains
pastures to the south
mountains to the west
prairies to the east
hills to the north
beautiful you are
as the sun shines bright
the grass glows green of dew
in the early hour mornings
the sky blue
cloudless and beautiful
cattle graze in the distance
along the rolling hills
populous of wooden fences
erected
seventy five years ago
battered
but still standing
unhindered
hay bales
as populous as the cattle
a common sight
yellow and round
scattered in no particular order
this is the beauty
